Proclamation

WHEREAS Florence Peters has been a lifelong resident of the Town of Bangor; and

WHEREAS Florence Peters has been a long serving, dedicated Election Worker for the Town of Bangor; and

WHEREAS Florence Peters is believed to be the longest serving Election Worker in La Crosse County; and

WHEREAS free and fair elections play an essential role ensuring every eligible elector in the Town of Bangor can vote; and

WHEREAS Florence Peters never fails to display courage, flexibility, resilience and dedication to facilitating safe, secure and successful elections for over six decades in the Town of Bangor; and

WHEREAS the Town of Bangor expresses our sincere gratitude and appreciation for she who works tirelessly to protect the integrity of our electoral system and provide and safe, secure and accessible voting experiences for all electors of the Town of Bangor; and

WHEREAS the Town Board of the Town of Bangor, La Crosse County, Wisconsin does hereby proclaim April 18, 2023, as

Florence Peters Day

throughout the Town of Bangor, and we commend this observance to all our township’s residents.
